Why ecuador?
The vision for the Santiago Partnership is simple: to partner with the Covenant Church of Ecuador to establish and maintain medical clinics and homes for at-risk children. Our first home and clinic are located in Cayambe, Ecuador, and we hope to continue expanding our impact by adding additional clinic and home locations - bringing the love of Christ to communities throughout Ecuador.
The Santiago Partnership serves in close collaboration with the Evangelical Covenant Church of Ecuador and its social development branch, F.A.C.E. Every decision and direction taken in Ecuador flows from a shared, joint decision-making process. Together, we seek to transform the lives of at-risk children and their families and to care for medically underserved communities.
Our long-term goal is for the Santiago Partnership to become fully self-sustainable in Ecuador, with each project led entirely by Ecuadorians and functioning independently of international funds. The social enterprises in Cayambe - Forever Flowers and the Artisan Studio - will serve as the primary sources of financial sustainability for the project, helping ensure that the work continues for generations to come.
