An Evening of Friendship, Fellowship, and Impact

Some storms may change plans, but they couldn't dampen the excitement around this year's Santiago Partnership Celebration Dinner.

As guests arrived, the room quickly filled with conversation, laughter, and anticipation for an evening of connection and celebration. Friends of the ministry gathered from near and far, eager to reconnect and hear stories of how God continues to work through our ministry partners in Ecuador.

Throughout the evening, attendees explored the Sumak Store, browsing unique handcrafted items made by Ecuadorian artisans. The auction brought fun and friendly competition as guests bid on favorite items while supporting the work of Santiago Partnership.

One highlight of the evening was sharing an authentic Ecuadorian meal together. The familiar flavors carried many of us back to memories of the Children's Home, community gatherings, and time spent alongside our Ecuadorian brothers and sisters. At each table, we shared stories, strengthened friendships, and formed new connections.

Guests were also inspired to hear directly from Carla, Esther, and Mirian, who offered a firsthand look at the joys and challenges of ministry in Ecuador. Their stories reminded us that lives are being transformed every day through God's faithfulness and the dedication of local leaders serving in their communities.

We are especially grateful to our hosts at Bethany Evangelical Christian Church, whose generosity, friendship, and hospitality helped make the evening possible. From opening their facilities to warmly and enthusiastically welcoming guests, their support reflects the heart of partnership that makes this ministry so meaningful. We are also thankful for the many volunteers who worked behind the scenes to prepare food, arrange tables, assist with logistics, and ensure every detail was cared for throughout the evening.

More than a fundraiser, the Celebration Dinner was an opportunity to deepen relationships and strengthen the connections that sustain our shared ministry. As we gathered around a meal, listened to stories, and celebrated what God has done, we were reminded that ministry is never accomplished alone. We build it through partnership, prayer, generosity, and a shared commitment to seeing lives transformed.

We left the evening encouraged by this community's incredible support and grateful for everyone who participated. Every conversation, prayer, purchase, and gift helps our Ecuadorian partners continue serving children, families, and communities with hope and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Together, we celebrated God's faithfulness, strengthened old friendships, formed new ones, and looked ahead with hope to all that He has yet to accomplish through our partnership.

"How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity." Psalm 133:1
