intervention program
Our Intervention Program provides proactive, community‑based support that reaches families before a crisis becomes life‑altering. By identifying challenges early, we help stabilize households, interrupt long‑standing cycles of vulnerability, and reduce the need for more intensive services across our ministries. Strengthening this work means creating lasting security for families who might otherwise face overwhelming hardship. When you partner with us, you’re investing in a future where countless families can thrive with dignity and hope.
The Intervention Program currently supports 30 individual children, some of whom come from the same households. Rather than focusing on a single child in crisis, we work with the entire family—providing guidance, education, and practical support to ensure children are cared for safely and that families can stay together. This holistic approach is highly effective: 90% of the children we serve are able to remain with their families, avoiding the trauma of separation and the need for residential care.
Every family we stabilize represents a cycle of vulnerability interrupted and a future rewritten. Strengthening this program means reaching more families before crises escalate, creating safer homes, and reducing the long‑term need for intensive services. Imagine a future where the Santiago Children’s Home is no longer needed because families are thriving, resilient, and whole. That is the vision your partnership helps make possible.
