Here is a look back at the history of our ministry and the milestones that have shaped our work over the years.

Dreaming big with sonia

Sonia’s experience reflects the reality many families face across Ecuador—moments of crisis made harder by limited support. By standing with families like hers, we can create stability when it matters most and open the door to a thriving future for many others.

Looking ahead to 2026, we aim to expand the Intervention Program, which focuses on preventive, community‑based support so families receive help before challenges become overwhelming. Strengthening this work will reduce the need for residential care, keep more families together, help more women recognize abuse and access support, and break long‑standing cycles of vulnerability.

Our 10th Anniversary Campaign honored a decade of impact in Ecuador—celebrating the lives changed through the Children’s Home, Medical Center, Intervention Program, Forever Flowers, and the Sumak Artisan Studio.

Fiesta Del Ecuador

In November 2025, we hosted our first Celebration Event—Fiesta Del Ecuador—welcoming our Ecuadorian partners to the U.S. for a week‑long reverse mission trip. Throughout the week, our staff from Ecuador led workshops, participated in panel discussions, and spent time learning from several ministries across the Chicago area.
