Sonia’s story is not unlike many others throughout Ecuador. It is a story of struggle and lack of support, where one event can be catastrophic for the family dynamic. Join us as we strive to create more stability in families by showing up in their time of need. Our goal for 2026 is to expand the Intervention Program, which provides the preventive work, working alongside families in the community, with a goal to eventually eliminate the need for the Santiago Children’s Home. Families in crisis are identified before circumstances become catastrophic. Strengthening our intervention support will decrease the need in our other ministries as well. More families will remain together, more women will be aware of abuse and how to get help, and more individuals will break cycles of vulnerability.
Can you dream with us and see a future in which we can shut the doors to the Children’s Home because the needs in the community have already been met? That’s the goal for the Intervention Program, to make that dream a reality.

Intervention Program
We want to expand our intervention services to equip families with the needed strengthen and skills to thrive. Your support will fund areas such as academic & life training, spiritual care, construction assistance, and other needs as they arise.
SANTIAGO CHLDREN’S HOME
When you support our end of year campaign, you will be contributing to specialized therapuetic training for our staff, life skills & career training for our children, more computers & technology upgrades, along with new playground equipment for the Home.
sumak women’s Ministries
Your generous donations will support more Awareness Worshops to help women identify cycles of abuse and expand artisian groups in Ibarra to include embroidary.
