The Jungle Trip
Our staff is gearing up for a fun summer season with the children in the Santiago Children’s Home. Some may remember last summer's trip to the beach, giving children the opportunity to see the ocean. This July they will be venturing into the jungle for 3 days and 2 nights, to explore and discover the nature hidden within and even enjoy some hot springs.
This trip will be a retreat for the entire staff with a seminar “Care for the Care Worker.” Children and staff will be able to participate in some exciting sporting activities, hiking to waterfalls, and seeing all the wildlife.
The Delp Family hope to be in Ecuador during that time and travel with the group.
The Santiago Partnership will help share the financial cost of the trip. We value the opportunity to show the children other parts of their own country, care for our staff, and enjoy time together doing something new.
We are wanting to raise $3,000 to help finance this trip. If you would like to partner with us and assist in giving the children in the Santiago Children’s Home this opportunity, you can donate through our website adding “Jungle Trip” in the Memo line. As always, you can also mail check donations to our address below. Any additional funds we receive that go beyond the cost of the trip will go to support the Raise the Roof campaign and then to the Santiago Partnership general fund for future needs.
Please pray for safe travels, renewed spirits, and beautiful memories to be made.
