Raising the Roof
Bethany Covenant Church in Berlin, CT is sending a mission team in July to assist with the second-floor roof project. They will be partnering with a local church in the Quito area, Missionary of the Valley, for the construction. The roof from the first floor will be raised up to match the second-floor addition.
Raising the roof will alleviate water build-up on the second-floor walkways, assist in ventilation on the first floor, and add more usable space on the second story. When it rains, water runs off the first-floor roof and needs to be swept off each time. Water also gets in under the doors to the second-floor rooms.
Bethany Covenant Church has helped raised funds to offset the financial cost of this project. We appreciate their support and are looking forward to their visit.
